Went to TooJay’s for breakfast this morning (probably around 9:30ish) and was perusing Tumblr on my phone while Adam got caught up on Facebook on his phone.
I’m sure we look like a horrible, anti-social couple when we’re out to eat by ourselves, but how is this different from the cute old couple I saw reading different sections of the newspaper at Panera the other day?
Anyway, I saw this post and started reading it. Then we went to Target so Adam could return something and pick up a few things, and I continued reading it. Then we got home, I got on the couch and continued reading it.
It’s 2:45pm, the battery on my phone is down to 23%, and I’ve literally gone through every emotion my body can handle and then some. Over the past four hours, I’ve: laughed, cried, felt scared shitless (there is no fucking way I could have read this shit at night in a dark house), felt hope for something I don’t think about often—an order to the universe; a sense of destiny.
tl;dr I highly recommend this link if you enjoy the occasional emotional roller coaster.
Nix that, one of the best things ON THE INTERNET ever. 99% of these folks just had whoops-I-forgot experiences, but hey! Crazy good reading!
