Is this like that time that you thought they were cancelling Softlips so you stocked up on it and then found out that was false so you were pissed about supporting the lipgloss company for another 8 months?

This is very much like that, except instead of going off the word of some random part-timer at Walgreens, I’m getting my info from the intarwebs.

We went to the Plant City Strawberry Festival yesterday. Ryan took some sweet pics.

Here’s a rundown of what was consumed by various members of our group throughout the day:

Strawberry shortcake
Bacon dipped in milk chocolate
Deep fried pickles
Deep fried potato on a stick
Sweet potato french fries
Deep fried Oreos
Deep fried cookie dough
Kettle corn
Deep fried cheesecake
Shish kebabs (of the beef and chicken variety)
Root beer float
Soft serve in a sprinkle-dipped cone
Banana dipped in chocolate and nuts
Deep fried butter

Apparently, being an AmEx card holder has its perks.

We got to get our photos taken with some celeb chefs while at the South Beach Wine & Food Fest.

Morimoto was pretty quiet, probably because his English is limited, but Rocco was very nice and made sure to shake everyone’s hand and at least say hello even though we were being pushed through the process like we were on an assembly line.
