Sea Wolf - “Middle Distance Runner”
It’s my niece’s first birthday party on Saturday, so I’m going to SoFla for the weekend; here’s a mellow tune to play me out.
Metric - “The Police and the Private”
Lord lord mother we are all losing love

A little light on the Chevy Chase, but awesomely amazing nonetheless.

Um. Marcela. No.
But maybe this one!
Yeah, I think that one may be perfect.
Side note: I’m assuming these were supposed to be just random couples/pairings/families, but I recognized at least one actress: Daniela Sea (she was the right side of the lesbian couple around the 0:42 mark and again at 2:28).
Vote for what Ryan should play at Lauren and Carter’s wedding. This is my pick.
That or More Than This by Roxy Music. ;)
“I Will Follow You Into the Dark”… unless, you know, that’s too morbid for a wedding, or whatever.
Tampa and West Palm just got added! Now I actually have a chance of going.
This is the song my Lyrical dance class is doing for recital.
We started learning our dance last week and as soon as our instructor turned on the music, I thought I was going to die. “This song has my heart,” I said melodramatically to my dance buddy Rachel. She laughed, probably thinking that I was being sarcastic, and asked “You like this song?”
“I love it. Somewhere, a 12 year old Marcela just pissed her pants with excitement.”
The problem with performing to a song that you love, is that you eventually grow to hate it because you have to listen to it—often times small parts of it—over and over and over again. But I have a good feeling about my love for this song; if it was able to survive middle school, it can survive recital.
